TAM Volunteers: ARC NEEDS Volunteers this weekend

Hello ARC Volunteers-

We currently  have no one covering this weekends’ shifts in the ARC which means that the doors will be locked all day Saturday and Sunday. What a pity! If you can lend a hand – even for the middle of the day (11 am – 3 pm or 12 – 4 pm) it would sure be better than locked doors. Please let me know if you can be there – or just come!

A new month is almost around the corner, but looking at the calendar we can still fill a few open shifts for September. The shifts available are:

 

Thursday, September 24th: 10:00AM - 1:30PM

 

Saturday, September 26th: 1:30PM - 5:00PM

 

If you can, please sign up for one of these a.s.a.p. Have to try to keep those doors open....

TAM Volunteers: Keep 'em Rolling

Hello ARC Volunteers,

 

In Holland we have an organization that is called: “Keep Them Rolling” and their purpose is to keep the WWII Remembrance alive by keeping those old US, British or Canadian army jeeps, trucks and other vehicles rolling.

 

I just had to think of this when I saw the ARC Calendar for this month. We managed to keep the doors open in the first week, but there are still several shifts to fill for the rest of the month. Otherwise we might have to close on a Sunday or, even worse, the afternoon of the 3^rd Thursday. And we do not want to happen that…

 

Here’s an overview of the shifts available:

Thursday September 10              10:00AM – 1:30PM

Thursday September 17              1:30PM – 5:00PM (3^rd Thursday)
