Tacoma Art Museum ARC shifts for August

ARC Volunteers-

I hope that summer is treating you well!

The following shifts are available for the month of August. If you do not have a regular shift scheduled, I would like to encourage you to do so.

Mondays, August 20 & 27 1:30 pm – 5 pm

Fridays, August 3, 10, 17, 24, & 31 10 am – 1:30 pm

Friday, August 3 1:30 pm – 5 pm

Saturday, August 11 10 am – 1:30 pm

Saturdays, August 4, 11, 18, & 25 1:30 pm – 5 pm

Sundays, August 5, 12, & 19 12 – 5 pm

Are you missing a black coat?

ARC Volunteers-

Are you missing a black wool coat? The ARC coat tree has been decorated with one for a few weeks now and I would like to request that the owner take it home. If it is yours, please let me know. If I do not hear from anyone, I will remove it next week where it will be handed over to lost and found.

Also, I wanted to let you know about some variations in my schedule over the next 2 weeks:

I will work a ½ day tomorrow, Friday, July 13

I will have Monday, July 16 off

On Wednesday, July 18, I will work a ½ day

I will be off during the week of July 23 – 27.

I am using up some comp time and some vacation time. If I am not available, feel free to contact Paula at 253.272.4258 x3026 or PMcArdle@TacomaArtMuseum.org.

Finally, the card catalog will be removed from the ARC this evening and a work table will take its place. The work table is primarily for book repairs so please do not use it for storage or ongoing projects. Do not move items that may be left on it for repair purposes as it may cause further damage.
