Art Resource Center Calendar

Hello again, ARC volunteers:

Below is the calendar for the next month. You will see we have quite a few open shifts! Much obliged if you are able to cover any of them. Two more items, while I’m at it:

1.       Art Resource Center Book Sale
This year’s ARC book sale fundraiser is happening Third Thursday, April 18, throughout the museum’s open hours (10 am to 8 pm). All proceeds support the ARC. Books will be half-price starting at 7:30, and the Museum Store is having an accompanying Spring Cleaning Sale that day as well. I hope you will come check out the selection, and also hope that you might be interested in helping out for some portion of the day! I’ve had a couple responses (thanks Marcia & Rachel!), but we could certainly still use more assistance. We need 2-4 volunteers at all times to help staff tables in the lobby, especially during those final hours. Please let me know if you are available for one (or more!) of the following shifts that day:
9 am-12 pm (assist with setup)
12-3 pm
3-6 pm
6-8:30 pm (assist with busiest time and cleanup)

2.       Proper inputs to online catalogue
Just a friendly reminder to all those who work in LibraryWorld: please make sure you are adhering as fastidiously as possible to the ARC Manual instructions for proper data entry. Remember that this catalogue is accessed by the general public, in addition to ARC volunteers and TAM staff. A couple of our experienced cataloguers have noticed some recent entries are missing needed info or otherwise improperly input. I have some volunteers who’ve kindly offer to go through and fix the current incorrect entries, but we’d like to avoid additional corrections in the future. Please let me know if you have any questions about entering information in the online catalogue.
