TAM ARC Volunteers: Nov. - Dec. Schedule

Dear All,

 

Just saw that we still have 1 shift open for tomorrow, Sunday 31st from 1:30PM to 5:00PM. If you’re able to come in then you’re most welcome..;)

 

For November we still have a few shifts to fill too. The following shifts are still available:

 

Sunday 7, 1:30pm – 5:00pm

Sunday 28, 1:30pm – 5:00pm

 

Saturday 13, 10:00am – 1:30pm

 

 

If you want to plan ahead for the holidays in December then these shifts are still available:

 

Sunday 5, 1:30pm – 5:00pm

Sunday 12, 1:30pm – 5:00pm

Sunday 19, 1:30pm – 5:00pm

Sunday 26, 1:30pm – 5:00pm

 

Thursday 16, 1:30pm – 3:30pm (this is the 3rd Thursday of the month)

Thursday 23, 10:00am – 1:30pm

Thursday 30, 10:00am – 1:30pm

 

 

Partnering with Sarah Cross is also possible on the following dates:

Wednesday 3, 10:00am – 1:30pm

Wednesday 10, 10:00am – 1:30pm

Wednesday 10, 1:30pm – 5:00pm

Artist:  Chandler O’Leary
Title:  Local Conditions
Description:  Solo exhibit and debut of Chandler O’Leary’s latest artist book, featuring Mount Rainier. Sponsored by the Tacoma Arts Commission.
Date:  Nov. 4, 2010 through Jan. 21, 2011
Opening Reception:  Thursday, Nov. 4, from 4:30–6:30 p.m. Library Link Area (located on the first floor across from the check out desk) Refreshments will be served.
Artist Talk:  Thursday, Nov. 11, from 7–9 p.m. Room 020, Library basement level.

Biography:  Chandler O’Leary is a graduate of the Rhode Island School of Design and runs Anagram Press, which allows her to make a living by drawing pictures and doing nearly everything the hard way.  She has been obsessed with Mount Rainier since she moved to Tacoma in 2008.

Local Conditions, an interactive artist book, captures the changing faces of Mount Rainier. Explore 100 scenes—or create one of your own—to discover a mountain both immortal and impermanent. Chandler O’Leary’s work will be displayed in the Library Link area, located on the first floor across from the library check out desk
