TAM Volunteers: Keep 'em Rolling

Hello ARC Volunteers,

In Holland we have an organization that is called: “Keep Them Rolling” and their purpose is to keep the WWII Remembrance alive by keeping those old US, British or Canadian army jeeps, trucks and other vehicles rolling.

I just had to think of this when I saw the ARC Calendar for this month. We managed to keep the doors open in the first week, but there are still several shifts to fill for the rest of the month. Otherwise we might have to close on a Sunday or, even worse, the afternoon of the 3rd Thursday. And we do not want to happen that…

Here’s an overview of the shifts available:

Sunday September 20                 10:00AM – 1:30PM

Sunday September 20                 1:30PM – 5:00PM

Thursday September 10              10:00AM – 1:30PM

Thursday September 17              1:30PM – 5:00PM (3rd Thursday)

Thursday September 24 10:00AM – 1:30PM

Saturday September 12               10:00AM – 1:30PM

Saturday September 26               1:30PM – 5:00PM

If you want to save my marriage, my wife wants me home a few days too, then please sign up for one of those open shifts… ;)   Thanks for the ones you already signed up for. For a complete overview of the open shifts check the ARC Online Calendar.

Keep those doors open and keep those visitors rolling…

Have a wonderful Labor Day weekend!

Groeten… Jurren
