If you are available tomorrow, Thursday, October 27 for the 10 am – 1:30 pm shift, we are going to have several groups in that need access to the ARC (it’s Day of the Dead tour time and the groups use the ARC to watch a video). Please let me know if you can help out with this!

Subject: TAM Volunteers: Help us customize eMuseum, our online collection database!

 

Dear all,

I am very pleased to announce that we are almost ready to launch online access to our collection database known as eMuseum. We will launch with about 10% of the collection (some 300 objects) and continue to add new records every week until all 3800 objects are online.

 

Before we make the database widely available to the public, we want to make sure that it is as user friendly as possible and we’d like your help.

 

We are asking any of you that might be interested to give us 1 hour of your time as an eMuseum tester. You will be asked to run through a group of tasks on eMuseum while our evaluators, Lauren Faulkner and Peter Reilly, observe and take notes. They will also talk with you afterward to get any other feedback.

 

If you are interested in participating, please let me know and we will get you on the schedule. The testing will take place in our Skinner conference room starting the last week of October and running through November.
