you are invited to docent training

To all ARC volunteers,

Here is the fall schedule for docent training, and you are welcome to attend any of the training sessions if you are interested – the introductions and gallery talks by curators or artists are probably more relevant to you than the “workshops”. Elsie Claypool suggested that it would be useful for ARC volunteers since they get asked a lot of questions about the exhibitions. And you can just show up at the trainings – there is no need to RSVP – and you don’t need to sign the attendance sheet.

Telling Stories introduction & Aminah Robinson workshop

§         Rock Hushka will introduce Telling Stories: Highlights from the Permanent Collection in the Event Space (1^st hour).

§         We will also do an Aminah workshop in the galleries – this is an opportunity for docents to discuss touring strategies, exhibition themes, etc and review how touring is going so far. (2^nd hour)
