Tacoma Art Museum January ARC Shifts

Hello ARC Volunteers!

I hope that winter is treating you all well and that this holiday season has been kind to you. Time does march on and the New Year is a bold reminder of that as I look at the January schedule. 2008!

Tacoma Art Museum will be closed on Tuesday, January 1 and we recover from our late night revelries but will be open at the regular time on Wednesday, January 2. There are still a few open shifts in January:

Fridays, January 4, 11, 18, and 25 from 10 am – 1:30 pm

Saturdays, January 5, 12, 19, and 26 from 1:30 pm – 5 pm

Sundays, January 13, and 27

Don’t be afraid to double up on other shifts. We have a lot of projects that I would like to see get worked on this coming New Year:

Magazines need to be reviewed for artist file materials

Children’s books need covered with book jackets and to be cataloged

We can make some bookmarks to remind visitors of what the ARC has to offer

And much more! We have achieved a great deal in 2007 so let’s keep that momentum going for 2008.
