Tacoma Art Museum Door Update

ARC & OAS Volunteers-

The doors on the OAS are being put back on this morning. For at least the next 2 weeks, we will need to keep the doors in the ARC and OAS closed (not locked though) during open hours. This is to regulate temperature and humidity better. We are asking that you not prop the doors open during the next 2 weeks so I will remove the door stops during that time frame as a reminder.

Also, there is a new notebook in the OAS that both the OAS and ARC should be aware of. It says MSDS (Material Safety Data Sheets) on the spine. This book should have a sheet on all of the products located in both areas along with information about that product’s potential hazards and treatments for misuse or accident. Please do not bring new products in to those spaces that are not already listed in the MSDS book. If you need a product that isn’t listed, contact Jana. We are doing this in compliance with OSHA (Occupational Safety and Health Administration ) for the safety of volunteers, staff, and visitors. Thank you for your help. If you have any questions, please let me know.

Thank you,
-Jana
