highly recommended | Third Thursday, March 20, 4:30 – 5:30 | Exhibition Walk-Through: Michelle Dunn Marsh, Director of Aperture West, will discuss the broad range of photographic media Chuck Close incorporates in his work, including daguerreotypes and large-scale digital prints – in the format of a walk-through of Chuck Close especially for the docents. Location: Event Space | ||
Required | April 9, 5:30 – 7:30 or April 14, 10:30 – 12:30 | Chuck Close Workshop Location: Gallery Ellen Ito will lead this workshop by talking about the artists whose portraits are in A Couple of Ways of Doing Something. This will provide a launching point for a group discussion of how Chuck Close’s portraits and Bob Holman’s poems represent the artist-subjects. | ||
