Tacoma Art Museum Artist Resource Center: Art Resource Center Calendar

Hello, ARC volunteers:

First, I wanted to let you know that we’ve had some technology upgrades: Elsie & Bill Claypool were kind enough to donate a new public computer to the ARC. As you’d probably noticed, the two computers we had available for public use were sort of on their last legs! We have now moved to the single, much more functional computer at the public desks. Feel free to explore it a bit when you are next on shift; it has access to all the same programs but is set up a little differently.

You may also notice a new TV in the ARC, to replace the one that had stopped working. Our IT administrator kindly reminded us that it is important to turn off the screen before departing your shift at the end of the day—leaving it on for too long can cause it to overheat and is a possible reason the previous one stopped working. Thanks for keeping this in mind! Let me or Megan know if you have any questions about or problems with either of these new items.

Below is the schedule for the next month. You can see we have quite a number of open shifts, so please let me know if you are able to fill any of them.
